We all live under the same sky.

A non-profit community art studio and gallery on Kamloops' North Shore — where every artist is welcome, every voice is honoured, and artists keep 70% of every sale.

Who we are

Art that disrupts who galleries are for

Same Sky Collective Society is a non-profit art studio at 417 Tranquille Road. We build community with talented local artists — many of whom face barriers that keep them out of traditional gallery spaces, including homelessness, poverty, and the toxic drug crisis.

Here, artists keep 70% of every sale. For some of our artists, that has turned a passion into a livelihood.

The studio honours all voices, creativity, and art forms — and gives people a sense of purpose through staying engaged in community, sharing their creativity, and being fairly paid for their work.

More than a gallery

Community, research & advocacy

Everyone welcome

No purchase needed — come in, look around, make something, or just warm up. The studio is a place to belong.

Story-mapping research

The studio houses a creative research project on the toxic drug crisis, told from the perspectives of people with lived and living experience through cultural story mapping — the visions behind everything we do.

Book the space

Meetings, workshops, support groups, social justice initiatives — community groups can book the studio. Ask Lana to set it up.

Keep the lights on

Because artists keep 70%, we run lean — powered by donations, local events, and neighbours who believe in this work. Every dollar keeps the doors open for someone who needs this space.
